It all started with a meeting at a lutheran church on shawnee mission parkway and nall more than 50 years ago.

Since then, the KC Catbackers have been focused on expanding K-State’s footprint in the Kansas City area, especially when it comes to athletics. Whether you’re a new grad with diploma still in hand, or perhaps you left campus before Bill Snyder came to town, we're dedicated to building a community faithful to our colors, one that gives back through the Mike Ahearn Scholarship Fund.

Your membership helps us expand this mission in key areas, starting with the numerous events we put on every year, including special events like our annual Family Summerfest and the Catbackers Golf Classic. The aforementioned scholarship fund is another initiative that drives what we do. Thanks to you, to date we’ve given more than $350,000 to support K-State Athletics.

Less prominent, but still vital, your dues go toward maintaining this website and related communication platforms, which helps encourage new members to join and works to keep everyone updated with the latest happenings.
