ARE THE KC CATBACKERS AFFILIATED WITH K-STATE?

We are a separate entity that is co-sponsored by the K-State Athletic Department and K-State Alumni Association. We work directly with these groups to put on events, provide auction items and more.

ARE THE KC CATBACKERS FOR PROFIT?

Kansas City Catbackers, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. In other words: nonprofit. That means your membership dues may be able to be treated as a deductible charitable contribution. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.

WHAT’S THE POINT OF A MEMBERSHIP IF I DON’T GET A PHYSICAL ITEM?

Your 12-mo membership ($25) supports our cause in several key ways. Most recognizable is the numerous events held throughout the year, including marquee gatherings like Summerfest. Membership dues help cover the cost of event rentals and other items associated with these events. Without your memberships, we would not be able to hold these events.

Your support also helps this site, including mailing lists, commerce and web hosting, function, leading to a seamless experience every time you visit.

And last but certainly not least, we believe in the power of giving back. It’s something K-State fans have always been known for — through a KC Catbackers membership, you provide support to the players who give their very best to the University every day, both on and off the field.

Do you need to be an alum to join OR live in KC?

Absolutely not! The club is open to any and all K-Staters, alumni or not, in KC or anywhere else around the country (and even world). You’ll be welcomed all the same!
