The Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament and our talented Lady Cats, featuring National Player of the Year contender Ayoka Lee, are returning to Municipal Auditorium here in Kansas City March 10-13.

To celebrate the season and preview the tournament, we’re hosting a one-night event on Tuesday, March 8 at Mr. P’z Bar & Grill in Overland Park featuring guest speakers in Emmy award-winning ESPN broadcaster Brenda VanLengen and fellow commentator (and K-State WBB alum) Missy Heidrick. VanLengen called Lee’s epic and record-breaking 61-point game back on January 23. We will also be raffling off tickets for K-State’s opening-round game!

The program will begin at 6:30, but Mr. P’z will begin welcoming Cat fans as early as 5 p.m. The event is FREE to attend and open to all ages. We expect a great turnout so come early and sport your purple pride!
